Description
About SandStone
Sandstones are comparatively soft and easy to handle, making them a standard building and paving material. Sandstone is one of the most frequent sedimentary rock types and is found throughout the world in sedimentary basins. It is often mined for use in manufacturing as a building material or as a raw material. Sandstone in the bedrock also acts as a groundwater aquifer or oil and natural gas reservoir.
Sand Stone Colors
Sandstone is an arenaceous sedimentary rock combined with mainly of quartz, feldspar, and varies in color (in a similar way to sand), through a grey, yellow, red, pink, black, and white, and many more. Because sandstones frequently form highly visible cliffs and other rock formations, certain sandstone colors with certain regions can be clearly identified.
